Psychiatric Medication Management
If you’re looking for compassionate, expert-led psychiatric medication management in Oklahoma, you’re in the right place. At Solace Psychiatry & Wellness, we provide personalized mental health treatment rooted in respect, science, and empathy. Whether you’re newly exploring psychiatric support or have been on a long journey with mental health care, you’re welcome here.

A Trauma-Informed, Patient-Centered Approach
Psychiatric medication management isn’t just about writing prescriptions—it’s about understanding you as a whole person. We take time to listen to your story, not just your symptoms. Our approach is trauma-informed, which means we create a safe space for you to share as much—or as little—as you feel comfortable. You are never required to disclose personal trauma, and you will never be pressured to accept a treatment plan that doesn’t feel right for you.
Our goal is to collaborate with you, not dictate care. If you’ve ever felt dismissed or rushed in previous mental health care settings, know that things are different here. At Solace Psychiatry & Wellness, your voice matters every step of the way.
Who This Service Is For
What to Expect During Your First Appointment
Solace Psychiatry and Wellness provides psychiatric care to adults dealing with a wide range of complex mental health conditions, including but not limited to:
Bipolar disorder
Generalized anxiety disorder
Panic Disorder
Major depressive disorder
OCD
Autism Spectrum Disorder
PTSD and complex trauma
Borderline personality disorder (BPD)
Schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders
ADHD and executive dysfunction
Dual diagnosis (mental health + substance use disorder)
We also work with people who have never been formally diagnosed but know something doesn’t feel right—and want compassionate, professional support to understand and address their symptoms.
New patient intakes typically last 60 to 90 minutes and are conducted either in-person or via secure telehealth, depending on your preference and availability. We will take time to learn about:
Your mental health history
Past medications and how you responded
Physical health and any current diagnoses
Lifestyle factors that may impact treatment
Your personal goals for care
You are never expected to “perform” or have all the answers. We will guide you through the process gently, asking clear questions and giving you time to reflect. If you prefer to write things down ahead of time or bring a support person, that is always welcomed. If appropriate, we may suggest GeneSight Testing to help guide medication choices based on your genetic profile. You can read more about that on the GeneSight Testing page.
Follow-Up Care Designed for You
Follow-up appointments typically last 30 minutes. These sessions are focused, intentional check-ins to see how you’re doing—physically, emotionally, and mentally. Medication adjustments may be made, but only if needed and only with your input. We value consistency and will work with you to find a pace that feels manageable.
We offer hybrid follow-up care, which means you can schedule visits in-person or virtually depending on your needs. We currently sees patients Tuesday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Supporting Patients with Complex Needs
If you’ve tried multiple medications in the past and nothing seemed to work—or if you’ve experienced harmful side effects—you are not alone. We have helped many patients with what’s called treatment-resistant mental illness. Using tools like GeneSight testing, trauma-informed interviews, and years of experience, we work to find the right path forward, even when past approaches have failed.
We also specialize in supporting patients who’ve experienced medical gaslighting, misdiagnosis, or stigmatization in previous mental health settings. Her practice is inclusive, body-positive, LGBTQ+ affirming, and built around creating emotional safety.
Medication Is Just One Part of the Plan
We believe in holistic mental health care. Medication can be life-changing, but it’s not a cure-all—and she doesn’t treat it like one. Your treatment plan may include:
Medication management
Lifestyle recommendations (sleep, nutrition, movement)
Lab work (to rule out underlying conditions)
Referrals for therapy, community resources, or specialty care
Emotional support and care navigation
There is no one-size-fits-all protocol here. Whether you want to stabilize your mood, quiet intrusive thoughts, build consistency, or simply feel more like yourself again—we will meet you where you are.
